The shipwreck of the vessel “Mytilene” It is located northwest of Kypsa Bay, on the Kassandra peninsula. “Mytilene”, an old German motor ship, was built in 1941 and operated the Thessaloniki–Mytilene route, transporting essential goods such as olive oil, cereals, and wine. The “Mytilene” sank in 1961 after hitting a reef during a strong storm.
